Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
Tomorrow I will spend the day taking down all the Halloween decorations and getting out the Thanksgiving decorations. We're having so much fun decorating the new house for the holidays! I can't wait until Christmas!

Christmas Duckie Soaps Redone

I think they turned out a little better than the ones I made last night.

Christmas Duckie Soaps

I got some Christmas rubber duckies and made some soaps with them. I don't know, I don't really like them. They're so unoriginal. I need to come up with something better.

I have a few ideas I'm working on tonight and hopefully they turn out cute!

New Kitten

We got a new kitten today!

I still haven't named him yet. It's hard to get a picture of him because all he's done is hide under the couch since I brought him home.

RIP Mr. Crabs

My coral banded shrimp, Mr. Crabs, died last night. He was twitching around upsidedown on the bottom of the tank and then he stopped.

Christmas Soaps

It's almost time to start thinking Christmas! I've been searching for fun and unique holiday molds and I've found quite a few. Tonight I made this s'mores snowman soap:
I listed him about 1/2 hour ago and he already has a heart:-)

Look What I Got!!

I ordered some stuff off Etsy and was so excited when the mailman rang my door bell this morning to give me my packages. He said he almost didn't want to leave them, they made his car smell so good.

I ordered some more caramels. Not just any caramels, but pomegranate caramels from Earcmra (Earcmra.etsy.com). If you haven't tried these, you don't know what you're missing!! They are a little tart at first (which is what I love about them) but so good and creamy. I'd post a picture but I had to hide them from my kids. Last time I bought them I left them in the fridge. Needless to say, my kids found them and they were gone before I could have one.

I also got some soap (that's the package that smelled so good) from Barebummbath (Barebummbath.etsy.com). I love soap and I love CP soap and I've never tried HP soap, so I thought I'd try it. I don't make it myself, because with my luck, I'd blow up my house or something.
I ordered these two soaps:

<---Pomegranate HP soap. Smells good, lots of lather and rinsed off clean.

<---Sugar Plum CP soap. It's very pretty, with green, pink and yellow and smells so good.

She also sent these two samples:

<---Grass scent CP Goat's Milk Soap. Grass scent is probably something I would have never tried on my own but now that I have, I absolutely love it! It smells so fresh and clean, like fresh cut grass only better! I got out of the shower and I smelled so good and my skin was so soft!!

<---Chamomile Neroli. This is the one my kids decided to take. They put it in the bathroom upstairs. The whole loft smells like this soap...and that's a good thing!!

Cupcake Bubble Bombs and Lavender Goat's Milk and Oatmeal Bath Soak

I spent last night in the tub testing out my new stuff.

Cupcake Bubble Bombs. A combination of a bath bomb and a bubble bar. These are in sugar Plum Fairy Scent. The cocoa butter left my skin feeling so soft.

Lavender, Goat's Milk and Oatmeal Bath Soak. I loved this, it was so relaxing!

New Cupcakes and an Alien Lava Lamp

<---I made more cupcakes to make molds out of. I'm going to make a few more mini cupcakes too.

<---Someone around here has an alien obsession. So, I put him in the lava lamp. The green parts even glow in the dark!

The Sweet Sound of Chirping Crickets

I finally went and got some live crickets for the critters. They'll eat the canned crickets when they have to but they prefer to hunt for their food.

<---This is Junior, the Leopard Gecko. I snapped this pic right before he gobbled up that little cricket underneath him.

<----This is Gecko, the Bearded Dragon. When he hears me coming up the stairs, he perches on this rock, waiting for me to drop the crickets in.
<----He's ready to pounce!
<----He got one!

Making Molds

I just got done making some new soap molds. I made 2 cupcakes, a lava lamp, a flower pot and a devil rubber duckie. I just have to let them set overnight and tomorrow I can use them to make some soap.

Bubble Bars

I love the bubble bars I get from Lush. This one is my favorite: http://www.lushusa.com/shop/products/bath-shower/bubble-bars/ma-bar

I decided to make my own and see how they turned out. I made some in Asian Plum.

Bubble Bar

Bubble Bomb

I tested them out and they were awesome. It made more bubbles than the one I bought. I gave one to my sister to try. She was in there so long, I almost went to see if she was still alive. She finally came out and she loved them! She went on and on about how soft her skin felt and how good it smelled. Then she stuck the rest of them in her bag and went home!

Happy Birthday Jayden!

My baby is 7 today. I asked him what he wanted for his birthday this morning. First he said he wanted his grandpa back. When I told him that couldn't happen, he said he wanted a baby sister. Is he nuts??? I told him it had to be something I could buy at the store. He said he'd think about it and get back to me later.
Happy Birthday!!!

New Stuff

My son has been begging me to make bubble bath for so long and I finally did it. I found these cute little bear bottles to put it in. He's already taken 2 baths today and wants to take another one.

The new bubble bath:

A new goat's milk soap:

I seem to sell a lot of the mini soaps in a take-out box both on and off Etsy. The take-out containers I was using were so small. I found bigger ones but they're white. So, I used the Cricut to cut out a pumpkin and glued it on the front. I like it a lot better, plus it's bigger so I can fit more soaps in it. This one is for the mini pumpkins:

I Found My Missing Coral!

I had this yellow coral that I just loved. Last month when I cleaned the tank, I somehow managed to bury it in the sand. I thought about trying to find it but since cleaning the tank takes me 4 hours, I decided just to let it go.
I cleaned the tank today and I found it buried in the sand. It doesn't look that great but I think it might make it. I'm going to turn the lights off and see if I can feed it.

Here are some pics of my tank:

The Anemone. I just got done feeding it, so it isn't opened all the way yet.

My Boys Think I'm Magic

My boys were in awe when I showed them the new soap I made today.

They already love the little frog soaps so to impress them, I had to make them better.

Now they glow in the dark!

They asked me how I did it. I told them I was magic and sent them off to test it in the tub. They loved it, they even took a bath in the dark!

Feeling Creative Today

We were supposed to go back to the fair today but there is a big thunderstorm here. So, I'm working on some new soaps instead. I'm trying to be more creative and do something different.

This one I just thought turned out really pretty.

There are lots of duck pond soaps out there, so I wanted to try something different. I put little fish soaps in the water beneath it. I think it turned out cute!

I had these strawberry molds and Chocolate Dipped Strawberry scent and this is what I came up with.
